A teenage boy takes up boxing after being the victim of an unprovoked racist attack.
Sunny never thought he'd set foot in a boxing gym. But he never thought he'd have to leave London for a new city, either. Or that he'd get beaten up by racists there.
When Sunny steps into Easton's Gym in the aftermath of the attack, he finds the community he's been desperately seeking and a relationship that helps him heal. But racial tensions are rising in the city, and when a Far Right march turns violent, Sunny is forced to make the hardest choice of all.
NOTE : Features strong language, violence and multiple uses of the word 'Paki' which readers may find offensive, however it is necessary within the novel's wider context.
