Summary

A gardener learns to be careful what he wishes for when he is granted a wish by his true love.

The duke's garden was his pride and joy, a statement of refinement and riches. His gardeners must attend to his every whim, even when that means coaxing a tropical pineapple to grow in the bleak Northumbrian climate.

The pineapple, and the magic surrounding it, can bring riches and reputation for the duke and his gardeners. But at what cost?

NOTE : The book is the size of a picture book but the themes, tone and are writing are more mature and sophisticated so we have chosen to shelve it in Older Teen.
