Summary

Three friends have to stop a professor from stealing the Saxon treaure they have discovered in a field

Fiz, Amir and Leo make up the Detective Club. When they find an old chest, they discover that the coins inside are Saxon and possibly very valuable. However Professor Mixom, the local Saxon expert, announces they're fake.

The Detective Club are upset that their find is unexciting, but Mixom seems very interested in where the treasure was buried. The Detective Club go back to the dig site and find the chest gone - it's been stolen! They follow the clues to catch the thief: Professor Mixom herself. The coins were in fact very real and she was trying to take them to sell abroad. Case closed!
