If you have experience of working in a SLS, school library or educational environment, Peters has a place for you on our professional team to help with our increasingly demanding schools requests.
Essential skills would include knowledge of the range of teenage fiction and key curriculum course titles for Key Stage 3, 4 & 5. The role involves advising on and selecting books on behalf of our customers, creating bespoke selections for leisure and curriculum support and engaging in our weekly book evaluation commitment.
Working from our base in central Birmingham, you will be familiar with computerised databases and online ordering systems and have a working knowledge of the current National Curriculum and books for children and young people. A current driving licence is highly desirable.
