Llyfrau Cymraeg a Saesneg i ddatblygu empathi ar gyfer pobl ifanc 4 – 16 oed/Welsh and English-language books to build empathy for young people aged 4 – 16
Mae llawer o waith yr EmpathyLab yn digwydd yng Nghymru, lle mae’r cwricwlwm newydd yn cyfeirio at empathi 35 o weithiau. Rydym yn cynnig y casgliad dwyieithog hwn fel cam cyntaf tuag at ddatblygu rhestr gytbwys o lyfrau yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg. Mae’n cynnwys 17 o lyfrau hyfryd i blant 4–16 oed. Maen nhw i gyd ar gael yn Gymraeg ac mae’r mwyafrif ar gael yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg.
Much of EmpathyLab’s work is in Wales, where the new curriculum features empathy 35 times. They are offering this new bilingual collection as a first step towards developing an equitable list of titles in both the Welsh and English languages. It features 17 wonderful books for 4–16-year-olds – all are available in Welsh, and the majority in both Welsh and English.
Mae panel arbenigol wedi dewis pob un o’r llyfrau yn benodol ar gyfer y gwaith o feithrin empathi, megis helpu plant i ddatblygu safbwyntiau newydd, neu gydnabod ac enwi emosiynau. Gallwch eu defnyddio i ysbrydoli plant i droi teimladau o empathi yn gamau gweithredu – yn eu cartrefi, ysgolion a chymunedau.
An expert panel has chosen each book to do a specific empathy-building job, like helping children develop new perspectives, or recognise and name emotions. Please use them to inspire children to turn feelings of empathy into action – in their homes, schools and communities.
