Ready Steady Read Together (RSRT) is a structured, whole-class shared reading programme that is teacher-led and integrated into classroom teaching for Years 2 - 6.  

The resource integrates high-quality, diverse texts with interactive, research-backed pedagogical approaches, enabling every child to access ambitious reading opportunities. The programme is 36 weeks, and each weekly unit has x5 40-minute lessons following a 4-part teaching sequence (Explore, Teach, Practise & Apply). The approach is fully mapped to the National Curriculum, supporting consistent, research-backed teaching
